How the studio works

We sit with program notes until a claim can be sourced. Georgia’s civic reporting habits — plain figures, named places, patience with unfinished public work — shape the tone even when a packet is mailed from the Indiana office listed on the contact page.

Origin

Sourcelogicbase began after too many year-end mailers treated a holiday photograph as a substitute for a kitchen log. The studio’s work is still that correction: captions that name the Tuesday, charts that survive a copier, letters that leave room for a waitlist.

We are not a fundraising consultancy, a bank, or a software vendor. When a desktop utility is mentioned, it is a local data tracking aid on a staff computer. Availability is listed through Veve; we do not hand out installers here.

People

A small bench of writers and figure-makers prepares the pages. Interviews are conducted in English. Layout is specified for print. We will say when a dataset cannot support a percentage and will not invent one to fill a cover.

Working approach

Kickoff is an evidence map, not a mood board. Each claim is tagged as sourced, partial, or unsayable. Photographs enter a layout only with a consent file that covers a mailed report. Board packets are tested on the office copier before they leave.

Values

Readers who fund a meal site or an after-school table already know the year was uneven. Respect them. Name definitions. Keep unfinished work in the same table as completed work. Do not dress record-keeping as investment advice or as affiliation with any entertainment franchise or trading venue.
